my name is AJ.: my thoughts on #KONY2012
don’t just support a charity because someone told you to. do your own research and choose how you wanna support the cause. on the other hand, don’t oppose a charity because of one article. do your research and check the facts. sure, non-profit orgs can be flawed— but the overall cause is what is…

“I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” - Gandhi
It’s a true disappointment to hear such irrational and, frankly, insane comments come out of the mouth of a “Christian”. As I am a Roman Catholic, myself, it’s disgusting to be even fractionally affiliated with a woman like that. You can scan the Bible, scripture after scripture, and quote the teachings in your defense, but I guarantee you that you will not find one in which God advocates hate against his own creation.
This is disgusting. I can’t believe we live in a world where there are actual people who advocate these kinds of ideas. What this woman believes in is the EXACT opposite of what God teaches. So sad.

stuck.
So, a few weeks ago I was rejoicing over the fact that I had passed my NCLEX and received my actual nursing license in the mail…but now, I feel so discouraged and just…stuck. It’s like I’ve come so far, and yet I still feel far from my nursing career. I can’t even count how many places I’ve already applied to, but what sucks is that most places require at least one year of experience, and that really gets me. I’m sitting here thinking, how the heck am I supposed to get ANY experience if all places require experience…-__- UGH. Super frustrated right now…
hoping and praying it will all change soon. :/
